Role Description: 

Position develops a detail schedule of turnaround activities for various resources including equipment and materials according to schedules and work lists. Position communicates and coordinates scheduling activities with planning and execution coordinators. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Interact directly with operations and planners to develop pre-shutdown, shutdown, start-up, and post start-up schedules using VTEP scheduling tool or equivalent 

  • Work directly with turnaround management 

  • Develop pre-turnaround schedules 

  • Manage tracking of turnaround deliverables and verify final deliverables are retained by document controls 

  • Assist in the development of work package and track the issuance of packages to the schedule 

  • Contribute to daily/weekly/monthly turnaround forecasting 

  • Communicate scheduling deviations to cost engineering  

  • Post turnaround 

  • Update schedule with final changes 

  • Archive schedule and other related documents per client's turnaround procedures  

  • Document 'lessons learned' 


Qualifications & Skills for Success: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a turnaround scheduler in petrochemical industry 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with VTEP preferred or Primavera and MS Project scheduling tools
