Time on Tools Coordinator

The Time On Tools/Industrial Specialist will be in charge of studying work flows and practices of site construction and maintenance contractor teams to determine and document current efficiencies and productivity conditions and develop optimization techniques and methods. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
  •  In charge of studying work flows and activities on the site of construction and maintenance teams to determine document efficiencies
  •  The fields of analysis will include multiple crafts such as scaffolding, insulation, painting, millwrights, I& E and mechanical crafts. 
  • This position will study and analyze all aspects of the work process including the identification of work, planning and scheduling of work
                through field execution and job closeout.
  • Collect necessary data needed to establish baseline information and to monitor changes for site wide comparison. 
  • Collect information that is used as a basis for unit-based pricing of craft work (i.e. leg-foot pricing for scaffolding) or improvement    
               opportunities.
  • Follow work crews and document activities by prescribed categories
  • This 'time and motion' study will be compiled into daily and weekly data sets
  • Expectation will be to follow multiple crews on a daily basis and provide the collected data on weekly basis, along with feedback on areas for 
               opportunity or of concern.

Required Qualifications: 
  • Must be local to the location
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of industrial safe work practices.
  • Industrial construction experience (5+ yrs).
  • Working knowledge of soft skills work practices
  • The following minimum safety training and security clearances
  • Basic OSHA training provided by the Alliance Safety Council
  • TWIC Card
  •  Security Passport as issued by the Alliance Safety Council
