TAR Cost Analyst

Schedule: 5X10s till September, then 7X12s during TA
Length: May 2023 - Nov 2023, possibly longer

Overview:
Cost Analyst will perform tasks associated with reviewing and analyzing business finances from overall budgets, turnarounds, projects, or maintenance according to client's project schedules and plans
Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the Lead Cost Analyst to manage the budget and expenses for the duration of the project or turnaround.
- Reconcile actual man hours versus head count.
- Collect and track headcount.
- Validate and report actual hours per the code of accounts.
- Review SAP charges and perform invoice audits.
- Provide general administrative cost support.
- Interact with refinery and contractor personnel in order to track information and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
- Review base cost data, budgets, balance sheets, invoices, timesheets, etc.
- Conduct cost tracking of labor, materials, and other invoices.
- Report estimated equipment rental costs based on contractual rental rates.
- Identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Understands and utilize standard auditing requirements
Qualifications:
- 1+ year(s) of experience in the petrochemical industry
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel)
- SAP experience is preferred
- Valid TWIC card
