TAR Manager
Location: Flexible - Geismar LA or Garyville, LA
Travel: 25-45%
Start Date:  Now - Jan 2024 and possibility of another TAR after 
Schedule: 40 hours per week prior to turnaround execution, OT as required and during turnaround (7/12s) 
Experience: Looking for someone with turnaround, large project management, or maintenance experience but also willing to collaborate and support needs for our outage process. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs, ISO's, piping isometrics, fixed equipment design packages, and pipe specs.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote, SAP, Primavera P6.
  • Experience with a variety of heavy equipment, especially cranes, preferred.
  • Experience with piping design and understanding of ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3 
  • 5+ years' experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, exchangers, pumps, hydrotesting and pipe fabrication.
  • Technical, Engineering, or Construction Management degree a plus, but not required.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for ensuring all work is executed in compliance with client and company quality control and company safety standards.
  • Uphold and communicate high standards of integrity and respect.
  • Manage turnaround safety program.
  • Accountable for turnaround budget control and performance.
  • Drive schedule development and execution to ensure the turnaround meets all business objectives.
  • Responsible for establishing performance metrics and objectives to meet company and client expectations around safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
  • Responsible for providing leadership, coaching and technical expertise to support turnaround work.
  • Responsible for providing a work environment that is consistent with company policies regarding discrimination, violence, or harassment.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD: 
  • Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, including night shift, following strict fatigue management guidelines. 
  • Based out of Geismar, LA office, travel may be required as much as 25-45% depending on projects.  Primary focus will be Geismar and  Garyville, LA. 
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
