Looking for Turnaround Planner/Schedulers with Refinery experience now for upcoming long term project!
PTS Advance is looking for a proactive Turnaround Planner/Scheduler experienced in managing a variety of teams and projects. Must be successful in creating detailed job plans and executing turnarounds on time and under budget. Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This is a 2 to 3 year project. Starting 2/24 -12/26
Responsibilities:
- Performs job walks to identify scope of work to be performed
- Studies drawings, plans and specifications to get all work that needs to be done by collaborating and discussing with project leadership, develops, monitors and updates project plans and schedules
- Meets with superintendents and managers to prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents
- Computes overall costs estimates for materials, labor and subcontracted work.
- Provides on-site planning, scheduling, timekeeping and cost tracking for projects within the western states
- Processes new employees hired at the job-site
- Submits purchasing requests for materials and equipment rental/purchasing and tracks usage
- Responsible for preparing and submitting billing to clients and subcontractors
- Compiles lists of materials, tools or equipment needed in addition to man hours
- Reviews schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated into the schedule
- Participates in project planning and progress meetings and safety meetings
- At the completion of the project, develops and records the projects historical schedule information and lessons learned, for future use
Skills:
- Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, construction, refinery, oil and gas, outage support
Required;
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
- Obtain a TWIC Card (Transportation Workers Identification Card)
