Administrative Assistant (Supply Chain)

Location: Downtown Houston TX 
Pay Range: $20.00-$22.75 per hour (depending on experience) 
Duration: 6 months (may extend or convert to permanent hire) 
Parking Cost: Reimbursable to candidate 
Schedule: Monday - Thursday (7:30am-5:00pm ) Friday's (7:30am-12:30pm) 
Start Date Availability: Must be available to interview & start ASAP 

Responsibilities: 
  • Provides administrative support to the Supply Chain Department (SCM). 
  • Duties may include word processing, reviewing/creating presentations, reporting in excel, filing, answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, scheduling, financial record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, and sorting/distributing mail. 
  • May work on special projects. 
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.

Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma (Required) 
  • 2-3 years minimum experience (Required) 
  • Must have excellent communications skills, soft skills, to be able to chat with both vendors and SVPs
  • Must be knowledgeable with MS Office required - Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
