Job Title: CAD Designer

Type: Long Term Contract

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer with 1–3 years of experience to join our Engineering and Information Management (Eng/IM) drafting team at a leading chemical refinery. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated designer to contribute to complex oil & gas projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and revise detailed drawings for refinery equipment, piping systems, instrumentation layouts, and structural components.
• Support engineers and project teams by producing accurate and timely CAD deliverables.
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with company and industry specifications.
• Participate in field walkdowns and site visits to verify existing conditions as needed.
• Assist in the organization and upkeep of the drawing database and document control systems.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of professional CAD drafting experience.
• Prior experience drafting in oil & gas or chemical/refinery environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of MicroStation or other drafting tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of P&IDs, piping layouts, and isometric drawings.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and vendor data.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
