PTS Advance has an immediate need for a Support Analyst in Rodeo, California. The Infrastructure Support Analyst will be responsible for providing deskside and remote support for personal computing environments. Building, delivery, installation and repair of computing equipment is performed. Provide training and consultation to end users.
Handling technically complex desktop support issues. Managing permissions as the site Microsoft OU Administrator. Providing hands-on support for the WAN/LAN environment. Implementing and supporting various hardware/systems required by the business unit. Frequent interaction with multiple IT support personnel in Bartlesville and Houston. Maintaining hardware and software inventories
* Pay rate: $28.00 hr.
* 10 days PTO
* Local Candidates only
* 40 hrs. a week - Onsite only/not remote
Basic/Required:
- High School Diploma/GED Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Physical requirements:
- Able to lift computer equipment that weighs up to 30 lbs. from the floor and safely carry up 2 flights of stairs.
- Bend, stoop, crawl under tables/desks to connect needed wiring.
- Able to bend to pick up equipment and load pull cart. Individual item may weigh up to 30 lbs
- Able to push/pull equipment on a cart of up to 100 lbs.
- Able to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to offices
- Available for after-hours (call-out) support of critical infrastructure
- Three years of direct experience with installing Ethernet cable and T-com equipment. (depends on role) Three years of direct experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. (depends on role)Three years of direct experience in administrating a site organizational unit using Microsoft Active Directory (depends on role)
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)Knowledge of a broad range of technologies including: WAN/LAN, COE Desktop, Core Business Applications, and Desktop Products
- Ability to give presentations to small or medium size groups
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with direct customer interaction
- Ability to work well with local and global teams
- Willingness to continually learn Ability to champion change

- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Able to acquire a TWIC card (Transportation Workers ID card) required to be on site. https://www.tsa.gov/twic

- Be clean shaven to comply with the facility safety facial hair policy.
This role works in an industrial environment, and the analyst will often need to go into the field. That requires wearing PPE (safety glasses, steel-toed boots, fire-retardant clothing, and being clean-shaven where required for respirators). They'll also need to be able to obtain a TWIC card.
