Document Controller Lead - Onsite
Texas City, Texas
Client: O&G Refinery
Schedule: 5x8's (6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) w/ possible 7x12's towards end of 2023 and Jan-March 2024

Length: 12+ month contract
Responsibilities:
- Support existing Doc Controls/Admin resource in the T/A groups
- Route all packages to Project Controls to ensure that the cover sheet data is correct
- Maintain the IFC package transmittal process and log
- Maintain an electronic log of Turnaround packages (current and completed)
- Work with Engineering Document Control to drive consistency among engineering packages (Consistent format, Engineering Material Form is populated, work orders are correct).
- Create SAP work orders upon Turnaround and Project Planners request.
- Create a new file for each year and move completed package data to the Previous Year file
- Maintain an electronic file of Turnaround packages on public drive
- Maintain a hard copy file of Turnaround packages (filing cabinets)
- Purge old files (hard copy) every year; maintain previous two years files
- Assist in closing TAR work orders and charge numbers for all shutdowns
- Manages flow of RFI's (Request for Information) from all contractors and crafts - including getting approval/denial, redistributing to planning and project controls, and recording / filing
- Maintain an electronic log of all RFI's (outstanding, approved and denied)
- File all RFI responses in the respective binder
- Assist Turnaround Planning and Projects personnel with various administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Document control experience supporting refinery Turnarounds
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- SAP skills preferred
- Demonstrates good communication skills, willingness to learn, and be a TEAM player
