Industrial Hygiene Technician- Long Beach, Ca
Our client is actively seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Industrial Hygiene Technician to join their Building Sciences and Site Assessment groups. Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with project managers and senior leaders to deliver high-quality, timely, and value-added environmental services to clients. This includes expertise in areas such as asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, site assessments, site remediation, and related environmental disciplines.
- Conduct field work, including site inspections, sample collection, and environmental assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documents for client use, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Interface with clients at a technical level, leveraging strong communication skills to address concerns, provide updates, and offer expert advice.
- Manage assigned tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Possession of Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) or Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST), or ability to sit for and pass the exam within three months of hire.
- California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Lead certification.
- Completion of the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training.
- Hourly Range: $35/hr - $40/hr (Depending on Experience)

However, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162. Base pay information is based on market location.
