Job Title: I&C Engineer
Location: Pasadena, Texas
Duration: Temp to perm (roughly 4-6 weeks on contract)
Pay rate: Hiring manager is open (qualifications & experience considered)
Responsibilities:
* Proven skills in requirements gathering, design, configuration, and implementation of process control solutions based on Factory 4.0 concepts for capital and improvement projects including batch software, PLC / DCS systems, HMI packages, SCADA systems, industrial PC networking technology and SIS system.
* Ability to organize, plan, manage, implement, and optimize organizational change projects.
* Expertise in batch process manufacturing in all the following project phases: Requirement's documentation, detailed design generation (base on ISA-88 and using object-oriented design approach), implementation, system integration, testing and on-site startup, using PSM (Process Safety Management) elements and Industrial standards.
* Knowledge in: Digital Transformation Methodology and Technologies, Alarm Management and Network Architectures.
* Team work in the deployment, integration, and adoption of new digital tools (IT-OT).
* Proven track record in programming leadership as well as the ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion.
* Identifying subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues and implementing process changes/control plans to drive continuous improvement

* This person will be the project technical lead and may be responsible for some project management activities in addition to leading digital transformation projects.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 7 years' experience in Chemical and related industries is required.
* Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, UOC controllers and SIS is desired.
* Experience working with control standard ISA-88 and related standards.
* Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.

Education
Required B.A in Engineering
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Preferred).
Master's Degree in Engineering (Preferred)
