PTS Advance is looking for a Lab Technician to join our team in Freemont, California, this will be an onsite role. This position is for an entry level lab technician working in an R&D Lab environment. Tasks include but not limited conducting and document inventories of chemicals and consumables in the lab. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
● Maintain a safe R&D lab environment by taking on active safety roles in the R&D lab
● Follow the guidelines and best practices related to lab notebooks, data storage and backup
● Conduct and document inventories of chemicals and consumables in the lab
● Safe handling of hazardous chemicals and canisters
● Organize the lab storage
● Conduct well-documented reactions, purifications, chemical fillings following established instructions

Requirements:
● College student majoring in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
● Excellent communication and computer skills
● A team player that puts safety first

Must Have
● Familiarity with water and moisture sensitive chemicals. Experience with operations inside glove boxes.

Pay Rate: $33.00
Assignment Length: 6 months-1 year
Est Hours Per Week: 40hrs
Work Schedule + Time Zone: ~8-5pm
