The Turnaround Logistics Coordinator is a contract position hired to work under technical directionpolicies, and procedures 

 

Role Description: 

Position manages the overall logistics setup and execution for turnaround related projects according goals and objectives. Position receives direction and performance measurement from the site Turnaround Superintendent. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Perform work activities efficiently while continuously looking for cost-saving opportunities 

  • Knowledgeable of and maintain a copy of the material management system, procedures, and practices 

  • Perform the following event program responsibilities: 

  • 'PlantoPlan' management used for estimation, development, and execution of all items related to logistics 

  • Track rental equipment status 

  • Perform the following turnaround event scope development responsibilities: 

  • Generate or assist in the generation of Logistic and Site Security Plans 

  • Compile and estimate material lists for logistics plan 

  • Compile and estimate rental equipment lists 

  • Work with the Materials Manager and Security Manger to identify and setup staging areas and delivery routes 

  • Work with Security Manager to setup parking facilities, transportation, break/lunch facilities, portajon, radios, equipment fueling, etc. 

  • Develop equipment staging and transportation plan to include cranes, frac tanks, vacuum trucks, blast resistant buildings, trailers, portable shop areas, etc. 

  • Perform the following event scope package development responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate infrastructure design and installation to support logistics plans 

  • Assist in the development of final rental equipment lists 

  • Perform the following event execution roles pre-event outage, post-event outage, and during event outage: 

  • Manage logistical items and personnel assigned 

  • Manage up keep of lunch tents 

  • Manage transportation of employees 

  • Manage rental equipment and the timely "off renting' of equipment 

  • Drive fork lift "asneeded' to support turnaround planning activities 

 

Qualifications & Skills for Success: 


    • Minimum of 5 years working in positions supporting maintenance, projects, or turnarounds in petrochemical facilities (preferred) 

    • Experience working in a refinery or industrial plant atmosphere 

    • Rental equipment management experience
