Location: Bordentown, NJ, 08505
Duration: 6-month contract
Schedule: M - F, 40 – 50 hours per work week, Saturday and Sunday as required
 
Responsibilities: 
  • All employees must comply with applicable PSM standards as well as EHS&S Responsibilities.  
  • This position is a maintenance technical resource, who partners with all departments; Operations, Process/Project Engineering, Reliability, and Maintenance personnel to troubleshoot equipment issues, and recommends repair strategies for rotating and fixed equipment along with associated instrumentation.  
  • Responds to the tactical, day-to-day equipment needs, as well as establishing a strategic view to eliminate equipment issues, improve plant reliability, and reduce costs.
  • Provide maintenance technical leadership for the department related to operations, fixed equipment and associated instrumentation.
  • Management of storage tank inspections required under RCRA, SPCC, and DPCC that are done according to API inspection protocols.
  • Partner with maintenance mechanics in troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Leads reliability equipment improvements and champions Reliability Centered Maintenance.
  • Supports and manages a Mechanical Integrity program in line with OSHA's PSM 1910.119 regulation.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing Preventative Maintenance plans in SAP for equipment 
  • Develop and implement equipment best practices, provide the training to support practices. 
  • Establish, review, and update department procedures and guidelines.
  • Support compliance efforts – RCMS, ISO, PSM, OSHA, etc.
  • Tracks and reports on reliability metrics.
  • Works within and supports SAP plant maintenance PM module.
  • Leads spare parts optimizations for critical equipment, Safety and PSM identified critical equipment.
  • Provide Root Cause Failure Analysis leadership to support reliability improvements.
  • All other duties assigned.
Requirements: 
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience working as a Maintenance Engineer 
  • Must have at least a Bachelor's degree required in Maintenance, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Knowledge or rotating and fixed equipment.
  • Must be familiar with piping and equipment specifications.
  • Proficiency in information technology including the Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Preventive Maintenance.
