Position Overview:
As a Process Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all process equipment, encompassing gasifiers, reactors, boilers, pumps, and compressors. This position involves working in an outdoor chemical processing plant environment, exposing you to chemicals, dust, noise, varying temperatures, and the need to operate in confined spaces. Process Operators work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, operating and maintaining the refinery around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and optimize process equipment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with equipment.
- Work collaboratively in teams to ensure the continuous operation of the refinery.
- Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines to maintain the highest standards of environmental and operational safety.

Work Environment:
- Outdoor chemical processing plant environment.
- Exposure to chemicals, dust, noise, hot and cold surfaces, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, vehicular traffic, and the need to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Work in inclement weather conditions, including wind, rain, sleet, snow, and hot or cold temperatures.

Qualification Requirements:
- Previous experience in operations work in a refinery, chemical processing, or heavy industrial plant.
- Proven commitment to fostering a safety-first environment.
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical exam, drug and alcohol screening, and background check.
- Ability to wear and use Personal Protective Equipment, including hard hat, Fire Retardant Clothing, gloves, ear and eye protection, and certified safety footwear.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive starting pay: $25.00 - $36.50 per hour (depending on experience).
