The Production Supervisor will lead a team within a production unit or line in the execution of processes to transform parts and raw materials into products in a timely, cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Organizes and allocates resources to effectively and efficiently meet line production targets.
• Ensures that production scheduling and production plan meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.
• Ensures execution of volume, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines.
• Identifies deficiencies in production area, proposes improvement activities, and oversees implementation of actions to improve production performance.
• Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
• Plan and schedule work to meet or exceed customer commitment dates.
• Provide guidance and training and ensure fair and equitable treatment of staff.
• Manage and document employee performance and develop associated recommendations.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Switchgear/Electrical/Electronics preferred)
• Previous leadership expertise. Must be able to motivate and coach the team to maximize performance
• Understands MTO (Made to order) - Not mass production
• Strong interpersonal skills
• ERP experience (SAP) preferred
