Site QC Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Site QC Supervisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality plans and procedures on-site to ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and client requirements. This role acts as a liaison between project sites, procurement inspections, corporate offices, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain the project's quality plan and procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact between field operations, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, and clients.
  • Ensure construction activities meet applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Perform surveillance and audits of contractor quality control programs.
  • Establish and track inspection plans and manage related follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate punch list walkdowns and inspections; manage the punch list process.
  • Compile and organize QC documentation for final project turnover to the owner.
  • Interface with clients and regulatory officials to address quality-related matters.
  • Support the development and implementation of project and division quality programs.
  • Provide internal and external consultation on quality standards and procedures.
  • Enforce compliance with safety, ethics, performance, and quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and change management efforts.
  • May supervise work of others but does not have direct reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in civil construction, preferably with auger pile or pile driving activities.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and construction best practices.
  • Experience interpreting erection drawings and working with construction technology.
  • Familiarity with project controls, budgeting tools, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to write clear, detailed reports.
  • Strong conflict management and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, or Construction Management or completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred.
  • Knowledge of administrative policies, procedures, and documentation practices.
