PTS is looking for multiple Project Managers (Business Process) to join our team to support our large Oil & Gas client in Houston TX. Job title: Project Manager (Business Process) x2 positions
Location: Houston TX 77042
Pay Range: $100.00-$135.00 Per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- This is NOT a Kanban Facilitator or Scrum Master role, although those responsibilities will fall within the remit. Instead, this role requires a leader with a "can-do' attitude, willing to hold their teams accountable for self-driven achievement.
- Will need to work with Extreme collaboration skills will be required as there is a need to communicate and integrate with other related and dependent teams to complete tight and unmovable timelines driven by contractual and compliance regulations.
- Must be a self-starter who thinks outside the box and is willing to take direction from Program Management.
- Required to have good technical knowledge to relay management goals to their team. Willing to challenge whether user stories are correctly sized and executable within the time frame.
- Capable of resource optimization and motivation toward a quality outcome.
- Courageous and humble enough to acknowledge and escalate when/if the schedule, budget, or quality is in jeopardy.
- Gain insight into the details of the tasks of the project so they can understand the issues if/when they arise and make informed decisions - not solely working to report the status of the project
- Must work to be engaged with all project resources and can speak from hands-on experience
- Maintain a professional demeanor and exhibit a high level of professionalism; needs to inspire confidence completed tasks.
Requirements:
5-10 years IT Agile PM experience

- Bachelor's degree in IT field or related field
- PMP Certification
- Agile Certification
- MS Project experience
- Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) experience
- Excellent communication skills
Forte in collaboration with a very strong sense of urgency - Must be Skilled in risk identification and management
- Experienced in ADO and excel to create and support reporting and progress tracking. (PowerBI is helpful but not required.)
Working knowledge of ADO - Excellent Excel skills
