Our client is currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Manager to join their team in Tampa, FL. As an Area Manager, you will play a critical role in leading regional teams and overseeing the successful execution of electric, gas, and renewable utility projects and programs for our clients. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in the oil & gas or utility industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a regional team to ensure the successful execution of projects and programs for our clients in the electric, gas, and renewable utility sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, managing contracts, projects, and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Implement a comprehensive Regional Strategy Plan to drive business development initiatives and foster relationships with new clients in the region.
- Efficiently utilize local resources and office facilities to support project work in the region.
- Monitor and manage employee utilization to optimize team performance, collaborating with other leaders as needed.
- Work closely with Regional Leads, Directors, Vice Presidents, and Principals to leverage expertise and resources for successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement a training plan to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees within the region.
- Promote a strong safety culture within the organization, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Serve as a key resource for executive management, providing advisory on overall project health and performance.
- Oversee the planning, development, issuing, and progress tracking of all assigned projects from contract execution through commercial operation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering or equivalent field.
- Prior experience in the oil & gas or utility industry, with a strong background in gas or electric utility engineering, construction, or project management.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience, with a track record of successful project management.
- Experience managing engineering, procurement, and construction projects within the utility sector.

- Salary: $150k - 170k
